Comprehensive Safety Training & Compliance

Our employees undergo comprehensive safety training that covers essential practices, procedures, and regulations necessary for safe work in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Our team is well-versed in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, as well as state-specific requirements for construction sites. This commitment to training ensures our staff is fully prepared to handle potential hazards and maintain a safe work environment for everyone.

OSHA Compliance

Celtic Conversions strictly adheres to OSHA regulations, which are mandatory for construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. We focus on the following OSHA safety protocols:

Fall Protection: With our work involving high elevations and framing, we implement robust fall protection systems, including guardrails, harnesses, and anchor points, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards for fall prevention.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Our crew is equipped with all required PPE, including hard hats, gloves, protective eyewear and hearing protection, and protective clothing, as dictated by OSHA and other regional guidelines.
Hazard Communication: We use clear labeling, signage, and regular communication on site to alert workers to potential hazards and ensure the use of safe practices around potentially dangerous materials and equipment.
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA): For each project, we conduct a Job Hazard Analysis to assess risks and identify effective safety measures. This proactive approach helps mitigate any issues before they arise.
Lift Training and Safety – Our Lift Training and Safety program covers proper lift operation, hazard awareness, and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.

Compliance with State-Specific Safety Regulations

Celtic Conversions is fully compliant with state and local construction safety requirements in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Our safety practices include alignment with additional state guidelines, ensuring our projects meet or exceed local safety standards.

New Jersey: We comply with New Jersey’s Public Employees Occupational Safety and Health (PEOSH) requirements, particularly in confined space entry and respiratory protection, which are essential for our metal framing and drywall work.
Delaware: We adhere to Delaware’s Department of Labor safety guidelines, ensuring safe work environments in high-risk construction zones.
Maryland: For projects in Maryland, we comply with Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) standards, which align with OSHA but provide additional guidance on safety in construction, focusing on electrical hazards, chemical safety, and fall protection.
Pennsylvania: We adhere to strict OSHA standards on each job site with the goal of avoiding accidents before they occur

Routine Safety Inspections & On-Site Assessments

To maintain an accident-free environment, our our in-house safety inspectors conduct regular site inspections and assessments. These inspections identify any emerging risks and ensure that all safety protocols are properly implemented. By continuously evaluating our practices, we maintain a dynamic and proactive approach.
